OWNER/OPERATOR

Jordan Bewernick is the co-owner and operator of Great West Radon. He is a C-NRPP certified Radon Testing, Mitigation and Controlling Radon in New Homes Installation professional with certification in Thermography. Jordan is a member of the C-NRPP (Canadian National Radon Proficiency Program) and CARST (Canadian Association of Radon Scientists and Technologists). He is bonded, insured and most importantly genuinely looking out for your best interest as a property owner. Jordan is passionate about this important health concern and making homes safer for families. With thousands of mitigation systems successfully installed in Calgary and surrounding areas he’s a leader in the Radon industry in Calgary.

Gary Smith

MITIGATION PROFESSIONAL

Gary is an experienced mitigation assistant turned C-NRPP measurement and mitigation professional. His years of experience in the diligent preparation, execution and troubleshooting of our mitigation projects have provided him with many valuable skills. With a background in health services he’s a great person to help ensure the health and safety of you and your family in your home.

Dorothy Bewernick

OWNER/ADMINISTRATOR

Dorothy Bewernick co-owns Great West Radon with her husband Jordan. She is a certified Radon measurement professional belonging to the C-NRPP and CARST associations as well as a member of the C-NRPP Real Estate Council. Dorothy is passionate about changing policy in Canada regarding Radon so is on the Radon Federal Advocacy Advisory Committee as well as involved in advocacy projects with Alberta Lung. Dorothy has degrees in Communications (CCBCH) as well as Education (B Ed.) giving her the skills and experience to be able to provide meaningful outreach and education in this emerging industry. On top of conducting Radon testing Dorothy deals with all the administration, bookings and overall office functions of the business and is dedicated to helping families achieve health and wellness.

Devon Walsh

MITIGATION PROFESSIONAL

Devon comes to us from Oil & Gas and construction backgrounds and has been on site with us for many successful mitigation services as a mitigation assistant. He’s earned his C-NRPP measurement and mitigation certifications and continues to expand his skill set. Devon is positive, courteous and a great person to have on the team in installing your mitigation system in the most effective and efficient way possible.
